The European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) is pleased to share the details of the next Open Call for Regional Volunteers.
For the next triennium, we are looking to build a diverse team of volunteers representing Scouting across Europe who will support the delivery of the Regional Scout Plan 2022-2025. We will first be building a volunteer pool of people willing to be involved over the Triennium before inviting them to express interest in specific opportunities from September this year.
We would like to ask your help in disseminating the Open Call to members of your association, in order to attract a broad range of skills and experiences to our team. We are interested in hearing from applicants with experience of Scouting at any level, from local volunteers supporting the delivery of the programme to national leadership.
We have put together a page on our website where you can find all the information about the Open Call, including the role description and the application form. We will also be sharing posts via social media, which you are encouraged to share.
As with previous open calls, International Commissioners will be asked for approval, before volunteers are appointed to the European Scout Region’s team.
